2.77.1 Field 1 Function Keys
2.77.2 Field 2 User ID:
10 characters
Purpose: To specify the user's identification code, typically the
user's initials.
Format: It is 3 to 10 unique uppercase letters.
2.77.3 Field 3 User Name:
30 characters, mandatory, tab stop
Purpose: This is the User's name that is associated with this
User ID.
Format: The last name should be entered followed by a comma and then the first name. The middle initial may be also added at the end if desired.
2.77.4 Field 4 Acknowledgement Name:
15 characters, mandatory, tab stop
Purpose: This name may be any name desired but is usually the
first name of the User.
2.77.5 Field 5 User Classification:
5 characters, mandatory
Purpose: To specify the User's Class. The Class will restrict the
User to certain functions.
Format: this is a table lookup. Please note that Class 099 Programmer can only be selected by a programmer.
2.77.6 Field 6 Status:
mandatory, tab stop
Purpose: To specify the status of the user. The user may be an
active user or an inactive user.
Menu Style: Radio Button/Check Box
Menu Values: Active Inactive
2.77.7 Field 7 Controls Ok, Cancel, Help, etc:
tab stop
Purpose: To specify an action that controls the window's flow.
[Ok] will save and apply the displayed values, whereas [Cancel]
will reject the changes. [Help] will display all of the
documentation for the window. Press the Help key for context
sensitive help for each field.
Format: It is an action that toggles the push button.
Menu Style: Push Button
Menu Values: Ok Cancel Help Erase Password Delete...
Erase Password will clear the user's password. The next time the
user logs into the application, the user will be asked by the
software to createa new password.
Delete will expunge the user from the application.
