2.56.4 Field 4 HTML Catalog Sub-directory:
40 characters, tab stop

Purpose: To specify the subdirectory where the HTML pages should be written by this software. It must be a subdirectory to the OPAC Java Applet directory. Note that this software will not create the directory.

Format: It is any alpha-numeric characters.

Windows Server Example: if the Java applet is at D:\inetpub\ applet, and this target HTML directory should be D:\inetpub\ applet\htmlcat, then this field's value would be "htmlcat", without the quotes.

UNIX Server Example: if the Java applet is at /home/httpd/html/ applet, and this target HTML directory should be /home/httpd/html/ applet/htmlcat, then this field's value would be "htmlcat", without the quotes.

2.56.5 Field 5 Control Tag:
3 characters, tab stop

Purpose: To specify the MARC tag that will be used for HTML duplication control. Any tag may be used, but it should be a local tag, e.g., 950. Subfield a must be used.

Format: Nil is the normal condition, i.e., this tag should rarely be used. If the tag's subfield value is "NO HTML" ( without the quote marks), then the associated bib should not have HTML generated for it. Any other value will be used for prefix part of the HTML file name. For example, if the value is "NEJM", without the quotes, then the software will generate the file NEJM. html. This would be used in the case of an ISBN or ISSN number being used by more than one bib, and thus, would allow the unique naming of the HTML file.
