2.25.1 Field 1 Function Keys

2.25.2 Field 2 Message Name: 50 characters, mandatory, tab stop

Purpose: To specify this System Message's name. It should be self documenting.

Format: It is a unique System Message name.

2.25.3 Field 3 System Message Short Name: 8 characters, mandatory, tab stop

Purpose: To specify the short name for the specified System Message.

Format: It is unique text of any characters.

2.25.4 Field 4 Message Lines: 70 characters, multiple, mandatory, tab stop

Purpose: To specify the message that the user will see if the condition occurs.

Format: It is multiple lines of free text.

2.25.5 Field 5 Status: mandatory, tab stop

Purpose: to specify if the message is still being used.

Menu Style: Radio Button/Check Box

Menu Values:

2.25.6 Field 6 Controls Ok, Cancel, & Help:

Purpose: To specify an action that controls the window's flow. [Ok] will save and apply the displayed values, whereas [Cancel] will reject the changes. [Help] will display all of the documentation for the window. Press the Help key for context sensitive help for each field.

Format: It is an action that toggles the push button.
